Day 4 Cycling – Riding Blue Derby

Reminder of Day One:

Day 4:

I love going with the flow of the day. We had nothing planned so we decided to just follow our feelings.

A good song with a good beat came on the radio this morning, so I danced in the lounge for about 20 minutes, then Scott & I decided to go for a ride down to the river, lots of dips and little hills, I love that track. it’s a perfect beginners track to learn on. I find I can concentrate more on using my gears & connecting with White Wullie Jr (: That’s the name of my bike by the way 🙂

While we were having a rest at the bottom by the river, and Ash the doggie went for a swim, Scott suggested we go ride Blue Derby again.

It looked like it was going to rain, but it was also around 22 degrees, so we decided to go for it. I am so pleased we did. I had a great time. I felt I had more control of White Wullie Jr. We didn’t do The Big Chook, that can wait for me until after Christmas. I’m still in training and getting fitter by the day, but I want to work my up to riding the Big Chook again. I want to enjoy it properly and take in more of the beautiful scenery, instead of staring intensely at the ground & concentrating on staying on, lol 🙂

So until next time, here are some photo’s that Scott took & to give you a feel for what we see while we’re cycling , I’ll post a youtube clip that someone else filmed while they were riding one of the Blue Derby tracks. Enjoy! 🙂 Ooh ps.. And I only fell off once today! Woohoo! 🙂
