Wow! Scott & I just experienced something truly beautiful, the perfect end to the perfect day. (: No not that, get your mind out the gutter right now! Lol 🙂
Last night after watching The Limitation Game, we decided today we would have a big clearout of Scott’s old clothes. Now for those who know me well, will know, I love cleaning other people’s spaces. I don’t just love it, I LOVE IT!! 🙂 However, with my own space, I tend to allow it to get really really messy, you know like when there’s clothes everywhere, and there’s nothing clean to wear, and in the kitchen you’ve used every single utensil in the cupboard and you have to wash up because there is nothing left to cook with or eat off of, lol yep I’m one of “those” people and proud of it, you can tell that can’t you, lol 🙂 But I don’t choose to live in it for too long, so when it’s gets to the point of finding mould in a cup, or I start to smell something not too pleasant ( I know I know, it’s not nice but it is my truth) I equally love having a really really big blitz and I’ll clean everything everywhere, the windows, in the corners & underneath everything. Takes me hours & I get through a lot of cleaning products but wow, the inner/outer transformation is so worth it! 🙂
Out with the Old (energy) to make room for the New (energy) .
So this morning, I woke up on a mission!
Now, clearing out old clothes is great when time is not on your side, every little really does serve, but when it comes to clearing the whole energy space as well, “Declutter your space, declutter your mind”.
Want a job done properly? Do it properly, Just clearing out old clothes is only going to act as a temporary measure for shifting energy.
Preparation is Always the Key to Success.
Clearing out of old clothes sounds relatively like a very simple task. And for some people it’s very easy to get on with, but for others, it isn’t, especially when you are new to the experience, it can feel very daunting.
This is one of those life experiences that’s rarely spoken about. Little tip: While decluttering your bedroom, instead of listening to your old self trying to talk you out of doing it, encourage yourself. Think about how amazing you will feel afterwards and imagine sleeping more peacefully & feeling more balanced inside & out. And don’t forget to Thank Yourself for Loving Yourself enough to make some changes. Remember You Are Your Own Best Friend. 🙂
Here are some simple steps to help get you in your flow:
- Invite a friend for motivational support or do it on your own.
- Set aside a couple of hours (depending on how many clothes, shoes & accessories you have)
- Go to YouTube and play, (through speakers preferably), some powerful house cleansing frequency music or use this one.
- Place all your clothes on the bed so they are in a big mound.
- Start anywhere you like. I like to start in a corner and work my way around.
- Pick up one item & determine whether you’ve worn it in the past year or not. ( I say past year because if you haven’t worn it this year, you’re probably not going to wear it next year, unless of course it’s something you would wear for a special occasion)
- If you haven’t worn it this past year, say Thank You to it and let it go with Love.
Tip: Whenever I let go of anything, regardless of what it is, I say/sing Ho’oponopono loudly or silently to myself.
So this morning I went up to Scott and asked him in a very respectful way and in a way I felt he would appreciate as I was about to gut his bedroom after all… “Permission to start preparations for mass decluttering of your bedroom please?” Hahaha 🙂 Scott used to be in the Navy. Thankfully I got a “Yes”.
And thankfully God/Universe was on my side too, because a few minutes later, Rob, Scott’s friend turned up so that kept Scott busy while I could get on with it. Lol 🙂
Preparation alone took me about 4 hours in total. When I’m preparing any room I like to be the only one in there so I can heal the space as I empty it. I put all the bedding in the wash, then removed all the clothes from the wardrobe & cupboards, took down the net curtains & winter curtains and removed some little furniture for the cleaning to commence and with an ok from Scott, I moved his bed and cupboards around. I feng shui’d it Katy style. 🙂
By the time I got to the cleaning part, Rob had left and after Scott had finished with phone calls etc he came to help. Divine timing 🙂 It was fun, I had been cleaning the windows and after I had almost finished them, Scott’s inner Navy kicked in, and pointed out there were smears all over the windows, to which he added, use kitchen roll with the anti smear cleaning product I was using. Omg, it worked a treat. So both Scott and I redid all the windows. I did the inside and he did the outside. (: And btw, in case you were wondering, Scott hadn’t abseiled down the exterior of the house, his house is only one storey high, lol 🙂
Most people just vacuum the floor. I don’t, I vacuum the walls and the ceiling as well. It’s an interesting one in that not many people look up do they, whether cleaning or in life, we very often just look at eye level or look down. There’s so much more going on up there, anyway I could go on for hours about that but I won’t, lol 🙂
Cleaning done, all looking ship shape and Bristol fashion, and ready for sorting clothes.
We stopped for lunch & then I decided to go and have a little snooze. I woke up about 5 hours later and Scott had finished sorting and put everything he was keeping away. The whole room now looks and feels totally amazing.
Very Tranquil. ⓛ ⓞ ⓥ ⓔ ♡ ╰ ☆ ╮ ♥ ღ
Just before I had a snooze I went on to Facebook and watched a trailer to a short documentary called Sacred Science, I bookmarked it to watch as looked really interesting. I LOVE anything to do with natural ways to heal oneself. When I woke up I asked Scott if he would love to watch it with me. He said Yes. We loved it & it’s message, so so powerful. Afterwards I went into the kitchen to make us a cup of tea. And there on the side next to the fruit bowl was a MASSIVE SPIDER!!!!! Hahahaha 🙂 At first, I very very calmly asked Scott if he had put a huge plastic spider on the side to freak me out, but when he said “No”, OMG!! I NEARLY WET MYSELF!!! .. Then I thought Bugger! Hahaha 🙂 I must admit though I surprised myself at how calm I actually was after the initial shock of finding out that it was REAL. I calmed down very quickly though and then felt an instant connection with her.
Wow, what an inner/outer experience! Although I felt calm in my mind and heart, my inner body was shaking. I focussed on my breathing and asked Scott to hug me so my inner body could connect with his and slow down naturally all the while saying Ho’oponopono to myself.
If you don’t know me very well, I’ve been a practicing Kinetic Chain Release Practitioner for 7 years. We all have a web inside us and outside of us, it’s what connects us all. The web inside is otherwise known as Connective Tissue. This connective tissue acts as a shock absorber to protect our organs. When we come up against any shock, whether physically, emotionally, mentally or spiritually our connective tissue tenses up then can shake. It’s a good thing, means we are inwardly rebalancing ourselves. Calm slow controlled breathing can help to slow down the shaking.
I knew the spider was more frightened of me than I was of her and I didn’t want her to feel I was a threat. Scott then went back into the kitchen and said she had disappeared under the sink unit.
As I usually do when I see or experience something ‘out of my ordinary’ I looked up the spiritual meaning of Spider. I knew it had come to share a message so Scott & I sat down and I read the message out loud. As I was a couple of sentences in, the spider appeared up on the side, as though she had come out of her hiding place to listen. Scott gave her a little poke and she jumped into the aromatherapy pot on top of the tea light candle, symbolizing to me me she clearly was a Bringer of Light.
I carried on reading and she stayed there right up until I finished and then went back to her sink unit. And here she is ♡
The huntsman spider (Sparassidae) is commonly found in Tasmanian urban areas. They are considered a large spider by Tasmanian standards with body length often reaching 70mm. Many huntsman spiders are dull shades of brown or grey. Their legs are covered with fairly prominent spines, but the rest of their bodies appear smooth. They are frequently found in sheds, garages and other infrequently-disturbed places. They also can be found indoors, often brought in in the wood or the washing or even shoes. A favourite place is in the family car. They do bite if provoked, but the victim will suffer only minor swelling and localised pain, and will recover in a day or two.
Thank you for reading. Here is the message that I read out. If you would love to leave a comment, please do so by scrolling down to the ‘Leave A Reply’ section underneath the adverts.
Thank you. 🙂

Oh, Wild One. Because you’re here seeking the wisdom of Spider energy, magic, and medicine, it’s a sign your higher self is guiding you toward a deep understanding of your place and purpose in this life.
Spiders are among the most patient and longsuffering of all animal spirit guides. They carefully weave a web then wait for their prey to come to them. Each strand of Spider’s web connects to another, creating a whole, safe space in which you can feed your spirit. Spider knows, however, that anything worth doing is worth doing correctly. You cannot rush enlightenment. Reawakening your soul’s knowledge of the Great Mysteries can truly become a life-time’s pilgrimage.
Spider bears a message about light, darkness and the delicate balance between the two. We as humans sometimes forget there is a special beauty and power to the shadow self. By understanding that side of our being we come to embrace the light all the more fervently.
No one is perfect. Spider lets you examine your imperfections from a different perspective – one focused on creating transformation from within.
Among ancient Egyptians Spider was sacred to Goddess, Neith – a mother figure. Similarly Native Americans see Spider as a creator and a symbol of the divine Feminine aspect. This creative energy is central to Spider’s lessons.
Planning and taking your time with a heartfelt project is the key to success. Spider says, “Haste makes waste. Go slow and wait for the right time.” As you do, you’ll achieve greater understanding of all your aptitudes and traits and pull them together as a cohesive whole.
Spider as a spiritual guide and mentor encourages you to try looking at a problem from different angles. Follow one strand – where does it take you? Try another – where are you then? Stay flexible and don’t be afraid to test out a new Path. This is particularly true of relationships and other close ties. Where do you want to build your web/network so that it’s strong?
Spider Spirit Animal
Spider as a Spirit Animal comes into our lives to kick start our creativity. If you’ve stalled out, now is the time to breathe life into your ideas and dreams! It’s time to begin weaving a strong, well-considered web and overcoming challenges. Spider as a Spirit Animal may also appear as a messenger from the Goddess calling on you to reconnect with sacred feminine energy, not only in the Universe but also within yourself.
Remember, to a Spider, its web is its ‘world’. When Spider appears to you, maybe the time has come for you to see yourself as the center of your own world. Like Spiders, we create our own world. We are the makers of our own destiny. Once we understand ourselves, we can truly begin manifesting our own reality.
Most webs are round-ish spirals which unite at a central point. In this, Spider webs are mandalas that you can use to meditate on the core themes and situations of your life. As the center of your own world, are you focused on what you truly want or are you spending time concentrating on negative energy?
Ask your Spider Spirit Animal Guide to help you design and create the very world you want!
